Bala Bharathi

A CENTRE FOR CHILDREN

Bala Bharathi’s compelling objective is to create a better human society through value based quality education.

The unique culture of our school encompasses compassionate treatment of students.

Hence we don’t admit students, but adopt them.

We strive to sustain academic interest, foster creative talents, develop social awareness and a willingness to serve.

Our task is to give our children the best possible start.

The natural way through which children learn is by play or by activity in which the child is engaged without external pressure.

So the process of learning is play based or activity based. Play as a medium for curriculum delivery is emphasized.

Activity based learning is very enjoyable for the child.

Textbooks, homework, tests, examination, written language exercises do not find a place in the classroom.

Writing sheets, Colouring sheets, Pattern writing are introduced as well as games for finger control and eye – hand co-ordination.

There will be no comparisons, ranking and prizes.

PARENTS ARE REQUESTED TO ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Parents must leave their wards in the school premises by 8.45 a.m. and collect them back at 12.00 noon.
  • The child must be weaned from the feeding bottle.
  • The child should be toilet trained.
  • All the belongings of the child like water bottle, snack box, school bag, napkin, kerchief, etc., are to be labelled.
  • Seasonal fruits and vegetables to be given and junk food to be avoided..
  • Nails to be trimmed regularly and hair to be kept free from lice.
  • A neat fresh kerchief is to be pinned each day.
  • Uniforms should be neatly ironed.
  • Conversation in English to be encouraged at home.
  • White canvas shoes to be well-maintained. (Shoes with lace, not buckles)
  • A spare of dress must be sent along with under garments.

Appreciating the Kinder Garten section

The first impression is the best, So they say. This is very true and I am sure every parent of Sita Devi would agree with me. The play way method of education introduced at the KG level has received wide appreciation amongst parents. Every child receives special attention with tons of patience and encouragement and I thank the dear teachers for their endeavour. It is really heartening to see that the children have started conversing in English in their own style at this early stage without any strain.

We are happy that the teachers have taken pains to start a library exclusively for the tiny tots, with lots of books and materials to interest the kids.

The worksheets of the children given to the parent at the end of every week show that the children are able to do wonderful things like writing letters of the alphabets, numerals, colouring, drawing matching objects and art and craft with perfect ease.

We are glad that phonetics is being given importance . The children are thrilled with the Smart Class.

We thank the Principal for encouraging the teachers to give of their best for the benefit of the children.

An exhibition was conducted and we saw the talents of both the parents and teachers of the KG. We take this opportunity to thank them for the wonderful exhibition they were able to conduct.
